Bringing Rhett Home

rhett is an amazing baby.  the nurses are all in love with him.  taking him home should've been a breeze, but i will admit it...i didn't want to leave the hospital! i felt that rhett was safe in that little room, and had a fear of him being in danger. becoming a mom was overwhelming for me. for example, when we left the hospital, and rich got on the freeway, i yelled at him for risking rhett's life (i was crazy). he quickly exited the freeway and took back roads the entire way home. also, when we got home. i made us all sleep on the floor because i was too nervous to have rhett far away from me, but i was also terrified that if he slept in our bed, i would crush him. again, i was and still am a little crazy...poor rhett!
