ultrasounds are great

my new favorite person--a sonographer! :) rich and i had an ultrasound appt, so we got to see our baby! we were doing the nuchal translucency ultrasound, so they needed to get a view of the baby's neck, but our little dude/dudette was not having it. when we first started, baby was hugging itself facing my spinal cord--so cute.  after about an hour, baby finally had relaxed quite a bit, but still was not in a hurry to reveal it's neck--it had both it's hands behind it's head! it was super cute--this baby will be able to chill with daddy. two hours later--they finally got baby to reposition and got some shots. i felt horrible because paul and kathy were in the waiting room for so long, but i'm not gonna lie--it was also pretty amazing being able to see and hear our baby for so long. baby was healthy and doing well.  :) CANNOT wait for 12-4.  i wanna hold this little charmer! xoxo.
