rich and i got a dinner gift certificate from my awesome brother, jimmy and his wife, christine. thanks guys! we decided to use the certificates at an oyster bar in chicago. it was a spiffy restaurant, but the oysters tasted kind of weird. i'm not sure if i liked them or not. i may need to acquire a taste for them. rich loved them, but he is a guy, and oysters are supposedly an aphrodisiac, so that makes sense... ahah! rich also loves all seafood, so that makes even more sense. after dinner, we walked around town and discovered that millenium park was having a free concert. cool! it was a classical concert. lol...not as cool! kind of boring to tell the truth, but by the end of the night, after oysters and a classical concert, we felt pretty dang sophisticated. ;) however, i still have no clue what the phrase, "the world is your oyster" really means.
